Wip WIP Game of Thrones inspired map

    Blank-continent.png

This is my first attempt at a continent so this is mainly practice, it will be heavily inspired by the game of thrones style maps. Advice and criticism is welcome.

Great start! The edges are abit noisy in spots, it would feel more hand draw if you cleaned them up a to y bit to match the style of the rivers and other map elements. I really like the over all shape of the continent.

Very nice, good colors and good colors and rivers. Will you work more on the seas? A blend effect with your paper texture would be better imo.

Not really sure how to blend the sea with the land, I will look into it.

    Here is another update:

That's not what I meant... I was talking about blending the color of the sea with the paper, not the land. A few quick (and probably bad) pictures to explain myself a bit better... To go from the left to the right by a blending effect (here multiply, and some transparency).

This is what I came up with, I think it looks a lot better.
