Hahahaha! Oh, but what's this? Blobby gets himself into an unfortunate bind. Could it be the end of Blobby the Map Rat or will he prevail against (cue dark and perilous theme music) the black kitten? To be continued...
A while back we ran a challenge where you had to take a random collection of blobs and turn it into a map. It was overseen by this fine fellow:

I like to call him Blobby the Map Rat. He'll be watching all of you to see what kind of a map you can create out of the random shapes in the image attached below. There are no restrictions as to what kind of map you make with it; the only rule, as last time, is that you cannot change the basic shapes or placement of the blobs. You can spin the map around, flip it left for right, or add more blobs to it. Other than that, go crazy! Blobby looks forward to seeing what you come up with.
The challenge will run to the 14th of September, then we'll have three (3) days of voting, after which the winner will receive a shiny silver compass.
Please remember to title your threads like this: August/September 2014 Lite Challenge: < your title here >
Also don't forget to precede any work-in-progress image with this tag: ### Latest WIP ###
If you don't put that in, the thumbnail scraper won't pick up your image, and no one will see it when it's time to vote.
And here is your random assortment of blobs:
Another obscure challenge
Count me in, but with Waldronate in the competition I'm going to have to find a different approach to this :/ (Damn that was quick)
I remember the rat in the last set of blobs, but this time I see Stephen Fry drinking coffee, from a side angle.
See it, anyone?

With waldronate demonstrating the power of Wilbur, I'm taking on the challenge, trying to figure out, what PowerPoint can perform.
I'd say, the first WIP is - for a first step - quite cool actually
Let's see, what else we can do ...
CatZeyeS Headquarters - home of free miniature skirmsh game rules and supplements
Ok Diamond, point me in the direction of the original blob thread, you aroused my curiosity LOL
Here it is (and exactly one year ago, too!):
Attack of the Blobs!
Blobby the map rat is spreading my terminal plague.
Good for him.
