    Default Samurai Chick

She called me a Samuari Chick! I've been called all kinds of things, good and bad, but never before has anyone called me a Samuari Chick! I love it

This is a map I just finished for author Paige Addams, and here is her post about it on her blog. You can see the original sketch there, too.

Thank you, Paige, you really made my day!

What fun! Anyway, here is the finished map

Congrats for another commission, Samurai-Chick Nice and clean map.
Some of the trees in the mountainous areas seem a bit transparent, so that one can see the mountains through.

It's the darned photoshop brushes. I made that tree brush absolutely solid black and duplicated the tree layer, and still that happens. I guess the only cure is to select all the trees and actually delete mountains under them.

How about a layer style of stroke set to inside with wide line and set to your desired color? That way you should get solid color that's easily changed if desired.

If you're going for solid black, multiply as a blend mode can make a huge difference compared to Normal.

Now that's a brilliant idea! Thanks, waldronate! I'll be trying that immediately
