    Post [IP] "Ask a Pro"?

    Hello, friends:

I was kicking around ideas for the Guild today, & I was wondering what you industry professionals would think of a special section in either our "how to" thread or in our resources area called something like "ask a pro"; the idea is that members could ask a simple "how to" question of their cartography endeavors, and only industry pro's would answer--either one or, hopefully, many.

They would not be questions like "what do you think of this map" (which is what our WIP forum is for!) but questions like "how can I achieve such-and-such technique?"

This is just a preliminary idea, and perhaps a bad or useless one. I'm interested in your thoughts about it.

    Thanks!

eh...no worries...I'm still working on logistics of several things here.

I don't want to just toss up a forum for people to ask you guys questions...that can happen anywhere...I was thinking more of an interview process or something...

What do you guys think? How do you think this would be best played?

    Ah. NM.

[and the board sez: "# The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters." so this should do the trick...]
