Since most of the regional maps we create is off the land and the sea is usually covered by solid or texture blue, how about a map of a region beneath the sea?
This could be a ship's graveyard, the sunken city of Atlantis, the submarine home of the sea elves, an aboleth's abyssal fortress, the realms of Poseidon or Davy Jones' Locker - create a regional/subregional map of the bottom of the sea...
