So, basically, this map depicts spheres of influence of Major League Baseball teams (re: CommonCensus - http://commoncensus.org/sports_map.php?sport=2) in the style of an old medieval map that is still using Latin because we're all learnèd and what not; let's call it circa 1654. The map features medieval reïnterpretations of each franchise's logo, even though some of them aren't exactly perfect - teams from each division share a common shield style as well.

I'm liking it too! The overlay of colours gives the impression of stronger or weaker spheres of influence. I really like the effect and have never seen it before. Have some rep for originality!
Very interesting idea!

Hmmm...I'm torn: Do I route for my new home in "Red's Territory" or where I grew up that's under the influence of the hated "Yankees".
This is coming out really cool!

Lovin the Cardinals crest, can't say much about the Cubs or Astros ones

Hmmm...after closer examination it looks like I'm in a contested zone between Albvs & Ruber.
