Looks interesting, would like to see a larger/higher rez version if possible.
Right this is very very early days, while I played around with software before I haven't in the last 2 years, so its pretty much back to square one again.
Software I am using for this project
GIMP
Fractal Terrain Pro
CC3

Delmore is a fantasy world with a small problem, called the polar ice caps have melted, and did so around 1000 years ago. So the world is now very Water based with a lot of islands both large and small.
So first I went into FT Pro, and started having a play around, finding the very useful guide on this site, which is where i found you guys from, so with a lot of trial and error, I came up with a base to start with. I sure its not the best, I sure it could be improved on and happy to listen to any suggests. All the steps from between original Export from FT Pro, and the work in GIMP have been saved. So can go back any number of steps to improve on them.
But where I am at the moment is attached. The plans long term are once I improved this start point as much as I can to work on Maps for Islands, both as hand outs for players and for me to know where other towns, villages are. At present very little actual work got me this far. Its mainly been a lot of trial and error and learning how to do certain things, and I know for a fact that it can be improved on.
Looks interesting, would like to see a larger/higher rez version if possible.

Interesting start. I seem to think that there may be too much land there. What do you expect the rise in water level to have been? Can Fractal Terrains take the current map and drop the water by 10, 20, etc feet.
hmmmm quick google and a best guess is that if Antarctica melted totally, the sea would rise 61 meters(200 feet). So.... depending on how much ice there was compared to earth, 100 feet might be a good value to check.

I actually originally started with more land, and raised the Water Levels up somewhat. and Sure on the higher rez maps. Forget these where the smaller ones to stop friends complaining about size. I get some higher ones sorted, what size is usual around here
