Post The Sea of Illa, Aka Memory lane

Well, as a part of my introduction to the guild, and while I’m still busy drawing a map to show what I’m made of, i would like to show you the Sea of Illa. This is a map I drew for a D&D campaign and its about 5 years old.

At the moment it mainly depict that I should one day get a bigger scanner. My more recent maps are all drawn in different segments and pasted together in Ms Pain (t) after scanning.

The paper is made old using the good old tea trick, you can prevent the tea from damaging your pens, by drawing the map on the clean white paper first, en wash the paper of with running water to make sure the ink won’t settle on the paper. And when the Ink is either washed away or sticks to the paper you can pour tea and/or coffee on it.

This is the little ship and the dangerous kraken that should almost be mandatory on any map with water on it. This is by the way, before I discovered that fine liner pens come in different sizes.
