    I think the concept of north and south is pretty much arbitrary; I've seen Islamic maps of the world done with north and south reversed. As far as I know, the only reason 'north' is generally considered as 'north' is because of the Eurocentric nature of the Age of Exploration.

    Oh, and that's a gorgeous map, bonemouse!

    bonemouse, I LOVE your map! I have been searching for a quality program to make a map of my DnD campaign world of the quality yours has. May I ask, what program do/did you use?

    Agreed. North and south is arbitrary.

    the map dose look nice but i am struggling to see familiar land marks
    for instance this is the 1884 map of mars
