Thanks! Another update, not much more, but something. More forest. The settlement I mentioned - with a holdfast. A small campsite in the forest. And I've begun to sketch outlines for the City and crop fields that will cover the spot of land between the bay shore and the northern forest. What do you fellow cartographers think? Too much or does it work so far?

Haha thanks I'm hoping to get some time to draw later today, so I can post a update of the city progress.

Well, I have to agree, that's really a nice map!

One thing though: if viewed at 100% the mountains can get confusing. Maybe a little more shadowing? It'S just an idea, it might very well mess upt the style.

Right. Started on city. Mostly just outlining as it is, don't want to get to detailed just yet – I might want to add something later. It's very tricky to draw, considering that the size of the keep is close to the size of a fingernail, so you might be able to imagine.
What we see there is about 1/10 of the whole city. Does it work so far?

To answer Llannagh. Shadows will be added in a later stage of the map. Probably when everything else is drawn. Haven't done any so far. However, what style I use depends on how I decide to color it. If I color it.
