Not too dark for me, but there is really no natural reason for a river to split like that in the bottom right quadrant. Rivers only split in a certain stage of their life cycle, and always temporarily and for very short distances before joining up again, or close to shore where deltas form in deposited sediments.

Indeed, but the map is far from finished, many mountains are still absent and the forest are not present yet. The mountains there are just the ones i had time so far to integrate
