What is the scale of your map? And what's your optimum file size; will you be printing this for a book, a poster, or are you keeping it as a digital copy? Time frame; when do you need it by? Compensation; paid or unpaid?
Could please someone turn this Worldmap into an old pergament-like worldmap?

its unpaid because this map is just for me and friends. I am sure we wont print it ever so i think the size isn't very important.
There is no timescale but a fast result is welcome^^
Here's a progress shot with coastlines and rivers on old parchment. Is this sorta what you were going for?

thats the mapstyle I'm looking for!
I'm trying out a few different detail ideas. If you have any thoughts on the matter, speak up.

maybe a compass on a corner of the map?
A ship in the central sea would be great too
Finished the little water lines around the coasts and I was suddenly inspired to give it a more used appearance... but if you prefer the flat version, that's still there. ;)

no this idea is great i did never thought about that! But its a little too bright in my opinion^^
Could you make everything a little bit darker and dirtier? (More used appearance for example: http://watermarked.cutcaster.com/cut...05-old-map.jpg )
but its of course up to you how to realize that
