No, I am a paying client. It is a condition of the job, It is not a matter of wanting the rights. By "limited portfolio use" I mean size, and quality limits on digital (online, .pdf, etc.) portfolios that can be reproduced as opposed to in-person physical portfolios.The polite frasing would be something like: "I would want to retain all rights to the map"

I was not impolite to start with. I was straightforward. I do not have to go out of my way to be polite as though I were asking for a favor. I am asking for a mutually beneficial transaction. If you don't want the job, don't take it.It seems more people are interested in being gnats than are interested in the job. So be it.so, since you're paying you don't have to be polite?
