Nice map :-) The artist who does all the UK MBF maps is Neil Gower. However, Steven Erikson and Ian Esslemont (the Malazan world co-creators) drew the map of Malaz City for the limited edition of Night of Knives a few years ago.

Thanks for the compliment and the clarification.

@Gandwarf - I can see where you might think that, but I rather enjoyed the entire series so far. Though I have yet to read any of the Esslemont novels.

I have zero drawing skils whatsoever, but I did throw together a map of the complete Malazan world here (in Paint, owch):

I got good feedback from Steven Erikson who confirmed the location of the continents is accurate, but the coastlines for those lands which haven't appeared yet (Korel, Stratem, Western Seven Cities, Assail, Eastern and Southern Lether) are fairly random.

My colleague Nagrom redrew the map as something less feeble here:

(switched to links, not sure how to do thumbnails)

The top map is more up to date as I added in some of the new locations from Return of the Crimson Guard, such as the Bael subcontinent near Assail and the Sea of Chimes).
