    I really am liking the work on Sorol. I'm not sure that HR can make a bad-looking map. I particularly like the noisy, "fractal breakup," effect between landcover regions. I guess RobA's, "Not So Random Coastlines," method would be applicable, but labor-intensive.

    However it's done, it looks great. Good on you.

    I can actually explain that effect. All of the landcover shapes are on one layer in photoshop, and then the "Spatter" filter is applied (it's listed under "Brush Strokes"). Very quick, very easy.
