only thing that i dont like is the background seems repeated over and over and over and over...
and the sun doesnt look like a sun
but otherwise this is awesome!
### IMPERIAL SURVEY REPORT ### GRX 593 ###
Arrived GRX593 137-1109
Have surveyed the system and found there to be 7 worlds in total. As surveyed remotely, a gas giant is in the system and we have found one habitable planet, possibly two. The star is class G5 and is main sequence. Have decided to tag this system Kalpana, designate GRX593-IV also as Kalpana.

Preliminary Notes
The main world, designated Kalpana, has a diverse ecosystem present. There seem to be human sophonts gathered on this world, seemingly around iron age in technology (TL1). In addition there are several other life forms that, on initial observation, may also be classed as sophonts. These beings also seem to be around the same level. The technology level is a preliminary finding based on observation. Sensors have picked up energy discharges on the world that may indicate a higher level of technology is available. No indication of advanced weaponry has yet to be observed.

Its to dull. Heres a link to pictures of our sun http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2008/10/the_sun.html
but basically you need to make it like brighter. When i think of the sun, i dont think of a sorta dull star, i think of a bright object that hurts your eyes to look at

Another version with a background from the tutorial.
I think this one's a little busy. I might have to tone things down a bit.

Okay, have toned down the starfield a bit and polished the sun.

Very nice, and that looks like Traveller notation for the planetery data too!
It's really odd how the eye interprets ellipses as not necessarily as ellipses seen flat on but as circles in perspective with some of the orbits but not others (for me, anyway). There must be some cues which make it so, but I'm not sure what they are.
looks great now
love the background now to, and the sun is 100% better
