New style for me, old style for some of you. Let me know how I can improve it will ya?

Coastline was done in FT and transfered to photoshop where I painted the rest.

Post Whats there is really nice

Its really pretty and feels right - just needs refinement.

I think you need to concentrate on the various regions to bring out their natural charm.

    - Shallows of the seas
    - Deeps of the seas
    - Rivers
    - Coasts
    - Mountains

    everything else

You have a lovely outline and a great framework but detail eventually has to be done in well.... detail. Thats where all the work is but your map looks like its worth it.

Added some more detail. I like the colors, not sure about the labeling. I should have started with a bigger file, I'm having trouble with smaller font and being able to read it.

It does look all chocolaty! So I put a rock like texture on it, hopefully this makes it looks better, but I guess it all depends on what each of us like.

I like that one as well... makes it all world war 2-ish for some reason ...

I think I like version #2 the best -- While the texture in #3 is cool, it's a little bit much to me, and the saturation is jarring after the peaceful, eye-pleasing yumminess of the others.
