But, if im feeling motivated and want to get in the feel of mapping I listen to the Fable and Lotr soundtrack's.

Well personally, I listen to everything from silence to metal except for Rap (I just don't care for it although some of the new stuff tied with more mainstream is good for example "Airplanes"). Of course, I like Paramour so maybe that helps.
I think music effects your feelings and that translates into something when you are expressing yourself artistically. When I'm irritated and play something loud I tend to draw with strong harsh strokes and sometimes that creates something a little different than what I would do typically (I don't do this very often honestly). Often I'm so focused on what I'm doing that I don't really care about what's playing or if anything is, so there you have it.
