Is it too late to say I love the idea? I'd so love to map the inn where Loreena McKennitt's "The Highwayman" takes place! The whole scenery is described so vividly!
The wind was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees, the moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas, the road was a ribbon of moonlight, looping the purple moor, and a highwayman came riding, riding, riding, a highwayman came riding up to the old inn door...

While I'm nowhere near skilled enough with this art form to entertain the idea of entering a contest, I'll definitely add a +1 for Loreena McKennitt. I was actually thinking of Stolen Child:

Where dips the rocky highland
Of Sleuth Wood in the lake
There lies a leafy island
Where flapping herons wake
The drowsy water-rats
There we've hid our faery vats
Full of berries
And of reddest stolen cherries
