The new font is more readable.

    * You use two different types of drop-shadow like effects. A black one and one that uses the color of the text Is there significance to that? I think the black effect is more readable and more attractive.

    * The map is kind of confusing those not familiar with the books, there are big labels all around, but with most it is unlcear weather they indicate a city, region or continent. Dots for cities would help clear that up. You use orange for water features, but it took me a while to figure that out, since orange is kind of counterintuitive in that role.

    * Google Earth view: Did you chop the arctic off? Why can't either of the ice caps be seen?

    jeez, tough crowd, lol
thanks for the feedback from everyone...
I didn't even see the different colored shadows! I should probably wear my contacts when I work on my maps,
got a little lazy I guess...
hope this one is easier to look at
I left the clouds off on this one as well, should help improve the clarity

Yeah. It can seem a bit rough when you put up your first few posts. You get called on a bunch of stuff that you never even thought of before. But the critique of the forum usually means you end up with a far better end product. Like all areas of life, it is good to surround yourself with people who will hold you to a high standard. However, by the same token, you have to find your own style. And I think what you are doing is pretty cool.
Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go..
