You could add some sand along the edge of the river so it blends in a little more. I do love your land texture. You are just so good at those textures. You might try 'Oilify' on the water to give it a more watery look too.

Some trees around the outside, like some generic shrubbery and perhaps some rocks would be good. This looks like a great map for an encounter with an aquatic ambush in the center when the PCs need to go for a drink.
