Haha! How did you do that? Animated mesh in some 3D program?

    Hi Nil,

Nah, I am clueless when it comes to 3d programs. Photoshop's lets you plaster a 2d texture onto basic 3d shapes. I just rotated it a bit and captured a series of 40-50 images to output as an animated gif. The star texture (and the actual land textures) are from genetica. The actual continents were just a bit wonky (deserts at the same latitude as tundras) but I wanted to stay true to the request. Next time I do this, I think I could easily stretch it to adjust for the sphere-warping, as well. Just a little experiment. Ooo, maybe clouds next time too!

The desert were next to tundras for moutains block rain, but I have no problem with your work.
If you can, make the cites like cites, and mabey the flags a little torn or burnt. And base upon the location, change the look of the city, like snow would be nordic and grasslands would be medival, and desert arabic. Make all the cites a different theme. But stay with the same theme on each color. Make the raods change on terrian also.
    Red- Medival
    Purple- Arabic
    Brown- Ghetto, like slums
    Orange- Kingly Cities
Green- New found cities, like wooden villages
    Blue- Nordic
Brown to the left to the ohet brown- Kingly cities, with a differnt look than orange

This is a request, and not just for RecklessEnthusiasm.
