Finished off most of the markers I think... Might add some later. Now to just add cards and the like. Game design would come later but I am happy to get help from others about this.

Here is the next update. Created a card back and a layout for a card front.
Decided not to include artwork on the card front but instead have quotable quotes.
Also, just to flag it. All images used so far have been free for use for any purpose. Especially the photo of the Chrysler Building, which came from WikiCommons and is currently held by the US Library of Congress.

Looking pretty good. Agree about not duplicating art on front and back. If this hangs in the gallery you know people are going to want to buy and play the game.

Another card as a game component. I would be impressed with myself if I can manage to sorta design this game in almost 2 months.

If these cards are picked or discarded from/to a pile, it might fill a rather "blank" space on your map if you had the card stack on The Bronx? At the moment that area looks a bit bare?

Thanks for the C&C Crayons. I'm kind of building the game as well and deciding what I need to include in the game before I concretely chew up space on the board with stuff like the cards. So I suspect it will be filled soon, just not at the moment.

Juggie - I'd love to see a bunch of "monopoly" style money stacks around the edge of the board--brightly colored with crazy pictures on them, or maybe caricatures of real U.S. dollars. Little plastic-looking pieces would be cool, too.

Yeah, I've just got to figure out how to get the plastic pieces (and if they would work within the game...)
I might sit down and make some Crazy-Cash, might actually base it off the cash that we use in Australia. I keep hearing from US tourists that our money is quite cool/pretty/easy to use. It's brightly coloured and slightly differently sized for each denomination.
