Hi All,

Been away from mapping for a bit, just time management issues. I'm trying to figure out a texture that looks like marbled red meat. My wife wants to go to a costume party as lady gaga in her meat dress. Here is what I came up with after a few minutes.

It is just a noise layer bump mapped to 50% grey and set to overlay on a red background. The same noise layer was then level adjusted to get the marbling shape and the white area selected and filled with white. The marbling was then bump mapped with that adjusted noise layer. I think that the feathering is too much, the marbling edges should be harder.

Any suggestions? I'm also wracking my brain for how to come up with a more striated muscle fiber bump map, and how to get a more swirled look into the marbling.

Thanks.
