Great 'blueprint' feel, middernacht. I've always been confused about the convention on stairs that you're using (light to dark). In your map where there are only two levels it's pretty self explanatory (light represents the level you're on and dark the next level (whether up or down)), but I've also seen it used where light represents the 'up' end of the stair and dark the 'down' end. If you were using that convention then the shadow on the basement stair should be reversed. I really don't know what the convention is....I might put a post up about it.
