Its looking good, however, your rivers seem to be splitting instead of merging. A river system will start in many places near the high ground, merge together, and then empty into the sea at one place. I like to imagine a leafless tree in the rain. The water that lands on the tree starts to flow down the twigs, then flows into the branches and then down the trunk.
Our sense of the stability of the earth is an illusion due to the shortness of our lives.

I'd like to give feedback but I have a few questions
At that scale how much detail are you are wanting to represent?
Did you have a clear reason for the scale you are using, or was it arbitary?
Are the dots major cities or towns or villages?
Is it a tropical area?
Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go..
I've done some toying around with laying it into Google Earth and messing around with the size in comparison to other island chains or regions, and I do want it to be a good sized island system, but the scale is not set in stone by any means.
I do need to throw together a legend don't I... Star is capital, squares are large cities, and circles are towns. I'm considering taking out some of the towns though, there seem to be too many.
Yes it is.
Thanks a bunch! That will definitely go into my resources folder...

For the label positions, it may be worth checking out this little gem I found this morning.
