Hmmm....I think I'm going to have to split the image in half, do all the labeling, and then merge it back together. The labels in the center of the image (where the two hemispheres are closest) don't look right. I think the spherize is assuming that the center of the image is the center of the sphere...I should have figured that from the start. Splitting the image will be a little bit of a pain, but not too bad I think.

Here's and updated image. The text labels aren't quite turning out the way I wanted, but given that I am running out of time I can live with how they are. I have some more labeling to do and may tweak a few other things yet.
