    I think the lighter one on the right looks nicer; more color variation.

    Just An update to let everyone know I am still in this! I got all the basic map done . Now its down to the details and the legend. Well as we all know "The Devil is in the Details" !! Well here is a couple of almost finished levels. C&C Please.

    I like the shadow around the egg chamber; it helps define the whole thing better; are you going to do that with all the levels?

    Thanks for catching that. All the layers have the bevel and drop shadow. Seems I forgot to turn it on for that layer. MEMO. Mapping on three hours sleep is BADDDDD !!

    The Doctor said NO!!, The specialist said NO!!!! and Terminex said Hell NO !!!! So I guess I'll have to suit up and go it myself. Wish Me Luck I'M Going IN>

    Default LET'S Try This Again

    Here is my almost finished version of the HIVE. It came in at 4.8 megs and the manager would only allow 4.77 . So I had to resample it. I need to take a short break all that is left Hopefully is some decoration. C&C Welcome !!

    The original map is of a small town just east of St Louis. The piece of water is the Missouri river.

    Default Finished Atlast AGAIN

    I uploaded last night but the post never Took Lets try again shall we !! Here for your enjoyment or Not is the final version of "The Hive". In explanation the main requirement of this competition was to use the roads from your Base map in the final. Well as I have admitted before I tend to see and do things alittle different. . Roads are typically negative spaces running through positive spaces such as fields, forests or buildings. For this project it seemed to work better reversing their role . I used them as the walls that enclosed the chambers. I did use them really I did !! Anyways without further ADO...
