Thread: Hello world!

    Default Hello world!

Hello everybody! After lurking around for about a year, I've finally decided to join up and steal your knowledge for my own benefit. I'm really looking forward to making my crappy looking maps into slightly less crappy looking maps, and eventually with some luck, not crappy maps.

And another out of the Lurkers Lounge. Maybe soon we'll be able to get in there and give the place a proper scrub. Oh and Welcome to the Guild.

So, what's a good place to go from here? Just fire up a WIP thread and take some critique?

Sure - just start something. If you WIP a map along the lines of what you've been doing, the Assembled Experts can steer you straighter (or in the case of rivers, crookeder). If any of the tutorials strikes your fancy, work your way through one in public, and you'll be offered tips. What tools do you have at hand, or are you interested in learning about?

    Here's to less crappy maps!
