Hi all,

I got back into mapping again recently and this is the first map I've done that I'm happy enough with to post. It still needs some work, like a box for the legend, a compass, a scale, and maybe some rhumb lines or something else for the background.
I've been playing around with a new way of doing hills and mountains, which has partially been inspired by the many excellent tutorials on this site. Do they work?
It's all done in Photoshop.

Nice map really like the mountain to hills. Maybe some more variation on the land mass. The legend gets lost over there in the ocean. Look forward to seeing more.

Nice job on this Adam. It's simple and understated, but attractive. One thing that could be improved upon is the clarity of the text; one has to concentrate to read the labels.
