Hah! I was just reading through that about a month or so ago when I was preparing to begin work on my own city (a project which has since been set on the back burner). Great discussion on population and demographics btw; I've been using the Magical Society Guide Mo linked to as well. Just in case anyone is interested, there is a pretty good online city generator based upon this guide which you can fin here.
