    Post Salutations and Hallucinations!

    Hello, everyone!

    I'm new here in the forums. I am primarily a writer, but I dabble a little in digital art, too, and map-making is another (often-neglected) hobby and off-shoot of the combination. I'm also a member of an online RPG group, and I've done quite a bit of artwork for that site, as well as a couple of maps. I was, in fact, looking for some inspiration for creating a city map when I stumbled across the Cartographer's Guild -- and wow! I'm inspired! (Now if I could only find time! LoL)

    There is so much great artwork here, so many good tutorials (or links to), and I'm so impressed by the critiques and suggestions that are given to everyone from the most beginning beginner to the experts.

    Congratulations on running such a fantastic site!

    Welcome to the Last Homely House of the mapping community! I agreew with Neon: would you mind posting some of your maps? (and other artwork would be an additional bonus!)(And heck, if you have anything written we can read...)

    Hello there! Welcome to the Guild!

    Don't have to much to say, me being so new as well...

    Good to see a constant influx of new members here though! Look forward to seeing your work.
    The pen is truly mightier then the sword, for with one quick stroke, a pen can kill your drawing; but the sword takes a couple hits before you drop it into negitive HP.
