Hi all,

I've always enjoyed maps and map creation, but certainly didn't ever expect to be creating them commercially. However, one of the things about helping to run a startup is that you need to wear a lot of hats. One of those hats was "battlemap creator" for our online cooperative RPG, Conclave. With experimentation, Dungeon Designer, Photoshop, and a lot of time in the Dundjinni forums, this seemed to work out; I don't claim to be any great shakes, but our players seem happy.

Here are a few examples of the battlemaps in action:

The maps are designed for small-scale tactical combat, with plenty of open spaces and some relevant terrain. They are designed for a staggered square grid (basically hexes, but done with squares instead as squares are easier to manage in the web browser).

Now just looking to keep getting better as I build more maps for the game, which is why I'm here!
