lol... I am such an idiot... I started out with a 1280x1024 map .... and Ijust now noticed that it was 800 x 600 ... I have no idea how it got to that size... but I've been working on it for quite a while like that as you can see...
well.. that's only a week wasted... lol.
I'm gonna go put my head in an oven now...

Thank you for the kind words dorpond... I thought I was going really well.. and couldn't understand why everyone was having so much trouble... well I found the secret... map it in half the size!!!!

That water compresses well, so the other route might still be open to you.
Thanks meleeguy... once I figured out it was a 800x600 I just quit bothering with compressing it ... what did you use to squish it?

And another one .. this time ... the right size... figured out what was going on ... it wasn't clipping to my artboard so it was saving it at my monitor size... that's what happened on the last WIP anyways... still don't know how I got the 800x600 file going...
