The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

The colors are lovely as are the landmasses. I have a few suggestions for you (please feel free to use these or not at your discretion) First, the bevel around the landmasses makes it look as they were placed on the ocean and that they sit above it instead of on it. The large forest suffers from the same problem. It looks like you used a drop shadow to give your forest some depth. That's not a bad idea but at this scale it makes the forest look like it is floating above the ground. You could try to lower the opacity of the shadow and add a blur to blend it with the landmass. Overall this is very good. Keep up the great work !!
