My Maps

Okay after fixing the pics twice now I finally got them up there properly except the thumbnails are weird, oh well I least the actual images look good. When I get good at GIMP I'll probably do the maps again on there. make im really cool and stuff.

So, next set is an Unnamed map I did, again toying with the single super continent idea I had. In this one you can see my map making skills jump a whole level I think, with the inclusion of a Mediterranean like sea and stuff like that. as you can see the Mountains, rivers, and climate zones I was toying with are still on the map. This is the kind of thing I really think is the art to fictional cartography, not making pretty maps but making a world that is believable.

also note that somehow my camera made some of the pages look yellow which actually looks really cool

And this last one is possibly going to be Earth for My Heroverse.

I think I like this one the most of all, everything about it is perfect except the Fjords, which are way to big. also note how clean it is, This is what I mean by template.

Hmmm, I'm getting a lot of 'invalid attachment' errors trying to see your earlier images...is anyone else getting these?

Yeah, I'm seeing that, too.

edit: Testing a couple of attachments, just to see if it's a problem with the thead. One from my HDD and one from a web site.

edit2: It appears to be a problem with the URL. There are two slashes where there should only be one, and the URL appears to be truncated. The d=... is missing.

All these broken links to hot maps is the cartographic equivalent of a strip tease show

I seem to only be able to load five maps at a time, the last three are loaded and didn't want to load anymore until I figured it out, I have remove those attachment from the Attachments Manager thing so I think now you can't see them, which is a bummer since It took forever to upload them.
