I don't know anything about price, actually. I believe they're still figuring it all out...though I really don't have any direct knowledge of this.

I do not know anything about it. But assuming a small discount you can take a look at the backer levels.
Beautiful map by the way
As long as LW doesn't use the same money grubbing license system as Army Builder OR the weak update server for Hero Lab, I might pick this up. Wouldn't mind the fees if you didnt have to pay for the program up front. And that update servers cuts my connection do to lag every update, never mind I can download whole games through Steam. And if the Kickstarter is a clue, the cost is ~$35. That's the first tier that actually gets you a copy of the game. If they add some backer rewards, I might jump on, as it is, I'm not.
I do believe there will be usage fees, as your data will be stored in their 'cloud'...at least that's how I understand it to work. Would be nice if there was an off-line way to work with it, but I understand why they're doing it this way.

Really? Ugh, hope its not like that. Would be a major minus. I'd prefer google drive or drop box for my online storage needs, but I don't see that happening.
Why the cloud? That's not something I guess I understand yet and it's certainly something I do NOT trust.
I know, "It's the future" and all that but seriously? Do people ever realize how much they are giving away using the internet to store personal information? I'm probably a bit less trusting than I need to be but hey, it doesn't hurt to be a little paranoid these days.
I was wondering if this had a way to store your data on your own drive and not use the cloud at all. It just seems to me like it's a way to keep you hooked into paying down the line if you want to keep access to your creation. That's a turn off for me. I don't even use Photoshops cloud to store my stuff.
