Unnamed coastline

The sorcerer region looks interesting, though is there an un-world explanation for the severity in terrain there (other than rainshadow)? Also what happens to the river flowing east from the mountain? Sinkhole?

The eastward river I haven't decided what happens to yet. When I originally drew the map, I only drew out the "known" world, so to speak, on the hand drawn version, the blank space on the right of the map is equivalent to "Here be monsters!"

As for the desert region, I do have somewhere a fairly in-depth history. Same for the Moor.
