    Post Newbie

Hello, I'm new here. I was happy to find this guild, as i love maps of all kinds, real world and fantasy. I am a gamer, and plan on using CC3. If you have any advice or recommendations, I'd be happy to hear it.

Welcome to the Guild sCRIMSHAW! I don't have CC so can't directly help, but I have heard the tutorials from Profantasy are a MUST, so if you have not already, make sure you walk through them. Next, check out the tutorials here. There are several active members here who map with CC, so start posting up some works in progress as soon as possible in a new thread and let's see what you come up with!

Welcome sCRIMSHAW. There are plenty of great CC mappers here. I'm sure they will start popping up and introducing themselves very soon. Remember feel free to ask any questions and post whatever to produce.

...and don't forget you can always use CC in conjunction with inkscape and/or the gimp which are both free and which will extend your abilities quite a bit. But if you are new to CC, I suggest you get the hang of it first - it's an excellent program and a good choice.

    Welcome Aboard.

    British Columbia, eh? Where Abouts?

Oh, and I use CC3 almost exclusively.

Sorry took so long, didn't know if that original post went through. (Still tryin to get the hang of this). I'm currently in Prince George, NeonKnight, but have lived all over the province, Thasis, Houston, Hazelton, Clearwater, Grand Forks...
Just got CC3, seems like it will be awesome once I get the hang of it, but I've run into one major setback already. If you don't mind, i could use a hand...
