    Welcome Aboard.

    British Columbia, eh? Where Abouts?

Oh, and I use CC3 almost exclusively.

Sorry took so long, didn't know if that original post went through. (Still tryin to get the hang of this). I'm currently in Prince George, NeonKnight, but have lived all over the province, Thasis, Houston, Hazelton, Clearwater, Grand Forks...
Just got CC3, seems like it will be awesome once I get the hang of it, but I've run into one major setback already. If you don't mind, i could use a hand...

I grew up In Prince George! Graduated College Heights Senior Secondary. Attending CNC (College of New Caledonia for you non PG Resisdents).

Shame I don;t live there anymore, otherwise I'd just get together with you to help you out.

I'll point out that to utilise the Symbol catalogs there are a few things you may not notice on them.

In the upper right corner of the Symbol Catalog is a little plus sign. This means the Symbol has a bunch of grouped similar symbols associated with it. (see attachment)

Clicking the plus sing gives you Image2.

Finally, right clicking anywhere on the symbol catalog allows you to see many symbols at once. (image 3).

Finally, you are likely asking: "how come I have two rows of symbols and you only have one?" The answer is right at the top of the Symbol area you will see a grey box labeled OPTIONS. CLick on that, and you will see some great options for displaying the symbol.

Oh, I also forgot to mention the little R symbol in the upper right. That means you can randomly place symbols from that particular group on the map. Great for things like trees/rocks/hills/individual mountains etc. And if the random symbol is not one you want, hitting the TAB key will cycle through that symbol group.
