    What is wierd is that looks exactly like so many editors I have already played with, like BF2 Editor or NWN2 Editor.

    its interesting. Its good. But I don't see anything new. Theres several apps like that. Maybe if its free and stand alone - not part of a game then it might be a first I dunno.

    As mentioned above it is part of a new Java library. It can be anything you want it to be which makes it very special. In fact, once it is released it means that MapTool could integrate it. WooHoo!

    Just in case someone's interested here's the official site.

    As far as I've clicked they seem to be ironing things out before releasing a new version onto the unsuspecting public. There are some obsolete packages available...

    It looks a lot like the Company of Heroes editor, too.
    All works shown in my posts are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 2.5 Canada License (good thinking jfrazierjr)

    Consider all my maps to be usable by anyone for the CWBP. Feel free to ask me for the .xcf or to ask me to change the orientation or scale.

    Yes exactly what I was thinking... It looked a lot like the NwN2 Editor. It would be cool to use the Oblivion editor to take screenshots of places for visual aid in your games... Pen and Paper or VTT.
