Default [WIP] Worldmap for a fantasy setting in progress

    Hi CG-lers,

After receiving encouragement to keep on trying after my first map-thread in the finished map section, i did just that

Here's a first world-map overview. It's still very rudimentary but as some of you know, i am a sucker for a world-map. I need it to have a feeling and overview of how the world looks like.
It's not complete yet. The continent on the lower righthand corner is not yet to my satisfaction and it will probably be changed (most likely a lot).

I will not draw any details like mountains and forests on this world overview - it's just that, an overview. From here i will go down to regional level and the map(s) i will do with more "filling", so to speak, will be on this level (so with mountains, rivers and forests etc. ).

Let's see how far i get with this

Thanks, Diamond I just finally arrived at the point where i said "screw it, if you do not try, you'll never learn" ... let's see how long it lasts ^^
It's not as if i never tried, mind you, it's just that i always was frustrated that the continents and shapes never were to my liking. Up to now, that always made me stop and throw the drawings in the trash Now, i just keep going, even if i am not that satisfied with the layout. I mean, if i try often enough, some day i have to hit the nail on the head...right...RIGHT??!!

Exactly! Man, you should've seen some of my early maps from years and years ago... look like they were drawn by a retarded squirrel.

As i have no digitalize-skills, the plan is to keep this handdrawn ^^
