Maybe sites of feretories. And miracle sites. Yes, good idea, Diamond.
Sites of the most important feretories and miracles added. Of course there are hundreds more, but they wouldn't fit all on the map.

Anyone with additional ideas for this map? Otherwise I would call it finished.
Well, I still think that the key should show the several religions (with your different roofs colors) since religious thing seems to be an important feature on the map but you'd have to find some room to put it.
Hmmm... He could shrink down the city key box (which probably doesn't need to be so huge anyway), and put in a small, simple inset map just showing landmass outlines with shaded areas showing different religions.
Small symbols for religious affiliation added.
