Diamond: This is really cool. Did you do that graphic design work and illustration around the border yourself? I like the landmasses.

I've always liked the way you display your landmasses.
Not a surprise I'm fond of this one too !
I've substantially changed things, as you can see. Not just layout but theme as well.
Also a nice shape (as always). Although i wish you had gone with the original shape (even with the theme change) because i was really wondering how you'd fill that map out.
On the other hand, i would have bet thousands of $$ that you'd change the shapes at least once in this thread...so, it's not a big surprise

Still I reach out for the Stars
Great progress and cool design. I like how it's turned out.
Finished up the mountains and rivers, put in a few city-states along the coast of the southern continent...
Looking very nice so far; I adore the embellishments you've created - a bit of a Celtic feel to them. I'm not really sold on the city icons - I feel you could do something more interesting than a solid circle. Have you considered setting your strokes to outside to preserve a bit of the interior of your islands?
-I'll do some experimenting with the city icons. I'm kind of sick of dots too, but I haven't come up with any convincing alternatives that don't take up too much room.
-I like the thicker, smoother look of the stroke on the interior of the landmasses; when I set it to the outside, it ends up looking too rough. If I had Inkscape it wouldn't be an issue, but I haven't advanced that far yet.
