Tutorial Half-random mountains for beginners in PS

    Hi!

First of all: my english is not so good. I'm new in the cartography and beginner in Photoshop. I wanted to make a map for my novel but I'm stuck with the mountains. I don't want to use icon-brushes, that's not too original. I can't make handmade mountains, bacause as I said, I'm just a beginner... (I checked lot of tutorials, but I can't find anything in my ps skill level)
So I started to thinking and finally figured out how can I make nice mountains and I want to share with everybody. Maybe it will be useful to anyone who is like me.

A tutorial for a first post; impressive! And it's a pretty useful one, too.

Nice. With only a little work this should also work in Gimp.

As mid said, impressive that this in a First Post.Very rep worthy if you ask me.
