The base landmasses were generated with the Polygon Map Generation demo.
Everything else was done in PaintShop Pro X7, using lots of free resources.

Nice to see you around again Neyjour. That's an attractive piece you've got there. I dig the icy color scheme. You've used those free resources very well in this piece. Great job.

    Cheers,

Nice one, good composition and color palette. Always good to see I'm not the only one to still use PSP7 .

    Thanks Ilanthar.

Another PaintShop Pro user? It's good to know I'm not all alone in that! Everyone seems to use either Photoshop or GIMP these days.

Do you mean 7 or X7? If you do mean 7, how on earth do you get that dinosaur to work?! I started out with PSP8 and used it for many years, until I started loosing functionality with recent Windows OS upgrades (plugins stopped working, the cropping tool would make me crash to desktop, constant "out of memory" errors, etc.) It finally got to the point where I had to bite the bullet and upgrade to X4. And now I'm using X7.

What I find interesting is your mountains. Somone told me I should try another style, well, I think I will try somehting similar to yours. Deserves some reputation!
We all wish to create, but do we really create?
What we draw and what we write is part of us.
No we do not create, we simply discover who we are.

Haha, yeah, I mean PSP 7, not X7 (anniversary edition, still Jasc Software) . The dinosaur works still pretty well on my present computer which works with Windows 7. I do have "out of memory" errors, unlike Photoshop, it can't handle much informations at the same time, but I learned to do a lot of save and with merged layers along the work.

Would you mind if I used this for a d&d campaign? Or at least a portion of it.

Thanks, but I can't take credit for the mountains. All I did was recolour/shade them. The originals are by cereth: Some hand-drawn elements...

It's amazing that you can still get that to work. LOL!!
