Get an idea of what the people living in your world think about the world and what it means to them: Is it a cradle? A homestead? A refuge?
Then try to find a language that makes the term you selected cound cool - Latin works most of the time for me

The whole lore etc is another thing i have to come up with. But I can start there with only the region my players are at at the moment. =)
Added a new Tile today and a new mountainrange/redirected a river to make the dessert more plausible.
