This one is done with photoshop, Impesio. First I used my "scalable map" which is done in Illustrator but then I went further with photoshop...

    Hi Impesio,

you don´t have to feel sorry for anything. In fact I looked up your deviantart maps and they are dealing with mountains as well...I looked up real mountains and groups of mountains and then found a way to combine them. I combine individual mountains piece by piece with valleys and rivers in between and when you keep in mind that individual mountains often just have a diameter of a few kilometers up to 10 km or so, that would help a lot, I remarked...

In fact, as you can see in my DA, the mountain making process is what I'm trying to improve. I've looked up as weel at maps but I couln't get with a real process to draw them well.

Yes, I draw them by hand, and those are not the only mistakes - but the biggest. They seem to be artefacts of an older map, where I imported the altitude layers from. Now I have to locate on which layer they are and then delete or erase...

@ Impesio, I can make a short outtake on mountains, if you want to

I would be very happy. If you can make son critics on my maps I'd take them seriously
