Photo manipulation or no, I am impressed.

Early on the blue masonry of the gardens was visually jarring, but has since been subdued by the many other colors of the image.

If I were to make one suggestion it would be to soften the texture beneath the cursive letters.

I just want to clarify though that there are very few phot-manipulations in here. I used Bogie's Sarcophagi, and one for the flower planters than line the pathways, but most of this stuff can be done with the basic patterns/textures and brushes in GIMP... and the things like the lake/flowers - that's all just layers of color.


I DID make extensive use of the "vine" brush, which is probably cheating a little

I'm really glad it gave that effect though, since I was trying hard to reflect that style ^.^

I thought I would play with it a bit and try to get some variation in the height of the ground and I think I like this a little better.
