Thought I'd reintroduce myself... Hope that's OK, as I have actually designed my first map.

Initially I registered on here as I was viewing so many great map designs, I spent most of my time just viewing the pictures though as I'm not too confident with words until now...

...I have really been getting stuck into my project I have set myself, to create a whole fictional fantastical world inspired by a location I visited... So my delay at actually designing a map has been my lack of direction and concentration as I wasn't quite sure where to start, I was and sometimes still do flick between different aspects of the world I should consider such as history, culture, civilisation...

Until deciding to look at types of cities and key locations, so creating a map of the world would be a good place to start... I have since created a gallery showing my work in progress.
